Al Jazeera docu-fiction tonight

Saara will be appearing as a nurse in Al Jazeera News Channel documentary feature film tonight 23rd July East Australian time 1.05am.

La Lekatem Al Sawt (Naji Al Ali) Part One . An investigative docu-fiction on the famous Palestinian cartoonist Naji Al ALi.. 21:05 Pm UAE / 20:05 pm Cairo/ 20:05 Pm Lebanon/ 20:05 Pm KSA

22 July 1987- London- 5PM
(POV angle) The film starts with Naji driving his car towards Draycott Avenue, he walks through Ives Street and then suddenly fell on the floor. He doesn’t see anything but faces; the blond guy, the ambulance rescuers, th...e doctor, then the nurses…everything is blurred, he is losing his sight. Flashes of his childhood in his village “Al chajara”, and in Ain el Hilwe refugee camp conquer his mind.
This part one of this docu-drama “La Likatim Al Sawt” draws the life of Naji from when he was a child of 10 years old deported from Palestine to Lebanon after the Nakba in 1948, to the moment he got assassinated in 1987 in London. Naji tells his own story in the native Palestinian accent, while the narrator in parallel briefs the viewer on the most important stages of history and politics that affected Naji as a an artist.
His friends, family, colleagues, testimonials, anyone who had been in Naji’s life will speak out loud. The threats, Hanzala and all that made Naji a martyr for the Palestinan cause are very meticulously analyzed.
